I think this song is pretty telling of Liliana's life before the story even begins.

Enjoy and have a fun filled Saturday!

Fallen-Sarah McLachlan

So as part of the exciting upcoming Summer Novella, I posted a song yesterday for Thomas.  Today it is  Rebecca's turn.

Rebecca is described in The Sin Collector as being solitary and quiet.  At one point we are told she believes being a Collector is a burden she must carry.  Where does she believe the burden comes from?  We do not yet know.  She refuses the assistance of the Collector tattoo.  She has a  long and winding history, spanning over a thousand years.  And somehow a thousand years is just the tip of the iceburg...

So as part of the exciting upcoming Summer Novella, I thought I'd post a song today for Thomas, and one tomorrow for Rebecca.  These songs represent the characters as you know them now, not as you may know them in the future.

Thomas is described in The Sin Collector as being very laid back and comfortable.  The type of person who contemplates life and its tragedies, but doesn't let that knowledge sap their positive energy.

Do you think this song does him justice?

No Official Soundtrack listing today all.  Of course this can only be because I've found a new song obsession that I must share with the masses!  I was introduced to this song two days ago by my Brother Bear and I have had it on a loop since.  Hope you lurve it as much as I, and if you do pass it on.  Never keep kick-ass music to yourself!

For those who have read The Sin Collector, under the humor and the mistrust, is comradery. Liliana joins a group of her kind, her brothers and sisters, in a battle to save their heritage.  To save one another.
I love this song, to me it captures that sort of selflessness.
The moment we stop living for one another, we just stop.

As those who have read The Sin Collector know, eyes are truly the gateway to all that lies beneath. Collectors try to hide their eyes, but with some they lower their walls...
